  • How do I become an Exhale member?
    The membership process starts with an Inhale Consult over a phone call, Zoom or an in-person meeting.

    First, set up a short consultation meeting with one of our Membership Consultants. From there, we’ll schedule an in-person Home Review to get to know you and your home personally before curating a customized Membership Proposal for you. Once you’re happy with the Membership Proposal, we’ll sign you up as an official Exhale Member, put recurring maintenance services on autopilot and address any on-demand projects on your list.

  • What are the benefits of an Exhale membership?
    Longer weekends, shorter to-do lists, fewer hassles and more time to spend on the things you love. 

    Exhale was created to give homeowners time back to spend on the things that matter most. As an Exhale Member, you and your home have our full attention. Our Members have exclusive access to our team and certified service provider network, as we don’t provide any one-off work for non-members. We handle all your home maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and improvements, giving you peace of mind and countless hours back in your day.

  • Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
    No way! 

    You can cancel your membership agreement anytime. We prefer to retain our Members with great service, not contracts. 

  • How much does Exhale cost?
    Services are all priced separately

    Services are all priced separately: recurring maintenance services are customized and priced upfront, with on-demand projects estimated as they are requested.

  • How does your service pricing compare to others?
    Exhale is a premium service, but we’re worth it.

    Unlike typical home service providers, we take care of everything. No job is too big or too small. We coordinate all of your home care and guarantee the best quality of services, while ensuring you’re not wasting your time finding, waiting for or negotiating with service providers. We’re confident our pricing is justified in the countless hours you’ll save and be able to spend on the things that matter most.

  • How do I know if my home and I are a good fit for Exhale?

    Our goal is to provide you with exceptional quality services that free you from the pressure and time commitment of homeownership. If you find this valuable, then you’re the right fit for Exhale!

  • What types of services does Exhale offer?
    The short answer: every service your home and property could need. The long answer:

    Our maintenance plans cover any recurring services such as house cleaning, landscaping, pool maintenance, annual inspections, pest control, HVAC servicing and much more. Additionally, we’re available for any “on-demand” work, which can include troubleshooting, repairs, handyman work, or larger home improvement projects such as bathroom remodels. We also provide 24/7 emergency support. Simply call us at 919-473-6038 and choose “emergency” to be routed to someone who can help you.

  • What if I want to keep some of the subcontractors I already use? Do I need to use your team?
    It’s completely your choice.

    You’re welcome to continue using existing service providers in addition to Exhale. We’re happy to take over management of your preferred contractors and providers, or you can continue to manage their services separately. While we can and will handle everything for your home, you’re not obligated to use our team for every type of service.

  • Can I work with Exhale for renovations, additions or other major home projects?
    Absolutely!

    When we say we handle everything, we mean everything. Exhale has highly qualified in-house general contractors who can execute these larger home improvement projects for you. And if by some chance we don’t do it right the first time, we’ll make it right—at no additional cost to you.

  • Does Exhale have in-house employees that do the work or do you partner with various service providers?
    Both!

    We have general contractors, maintenance technicians and handymen on staff who can address a wide range of maintenance, repair and home improvement projects. For more specialized work, we utilize our large network of certified service provider partners.

  • How does Exhale “certify” its service partners?
    Each service provider is thoroughly vetted before we partner with them.

    We require each of them to carry general liability and worker’s compensation insurance, and we only work with those providers who have proven to deliver the highest quality service.

  • Is Exhale similar to a home warranty company?
    Nope. We do much more than a home warranty company.

    Home warranties are reactionary and more similar to insurance plans for your larger systems and appliances. Exhale is a proactive service company focused on maintenance, repairs, and improvements for your home.

  • Where does Exhale service?
    Raleigh, Cary, Holly Springs and Apex

    We currently service the Raleigh, Cary, Holly Springs and Apex markets. We promise to expand into other areas of the Triangle very soon!

  • What is the role of an Exhale Home Manager?
    The Home Manager is your single point-of-contact for everything.

    Your Home Manager will get to know you and your home in great detail and will be responsible for scheduling, completion and billing of all services for your home. They’re the only person you’ll need to contact to manage your home services and projects.

  • How can I contact my Home Manager?
